Education System in New Zealand

Educational system in New Zealand is extremely varied and one of the best. Several indices rate the same as one of the best educational systems in the world. In areas such as forestry, food processing, biotechnology, forensic science and marine engineering, New Zealand qualifications are acknowledged as simply the best in the world. Furthermore, services provided for international students are among the best in the world. Their expertise and experience ensure that you acclimatize smoothly without any hurdles. English is the everyday language of New Zealanders and there is strong English Language support for international students. 

After Graduation

Different pathways are available for recent graduates to live and work in New Zealand. Depending on the area of study, government offers various opportunities to stay and work in New Zealand. Candidates can stay up to 4 years using various available options; post- study work visa up to 12 months and through employer assisted work-visa up to 2 to 3 years to gain experience in a specific job with a specific employer.

Part-Time Work Options

New Zealand student visa permits students to work up to 20 hours/ week during academic year and up to 40 hours/week during the summer breaks. Research masters and Ph. D students are entitled to a work permit of up to 40 hours/week throughout their course duration.
